Gastric Bypass Surgery
So here is a question I pose for you...If I am able to get benefits through workm should I get the surgery done? I am tired of being fat. I have a gazillion health problems because of my weight and I am tired all the time. I was reluctant at first because I didn't know anyone who had the aurgery and was successful at keeping it off. But lately, I have met a few 5 year plus people who have kept their weight down and I am considering doing it myself. I don't want to take the "easy" way out, necessarily, but I do need help. I can't do it on my own. Let me know what you think.

I'll support you in whatever decision. I'll leave an answer (even though we already discussed it) :
ReplyDeleteI don't even know how to sum up everything we discussed.... so I'm just going to say, you know where I stand. :-)
Miss Manda,
ReplyDeleteOk here it comes...you still have to maintain a healthy diet in order to keep the weight off. SO why not do it the SAFE way. Slow and steady. And who cares how long it takes. As long as you keep trying and the weight keeps dropping down. It has taken me 3 years to lose 86 pounds. I don't care how long it took, because I am not worried about being beautiful so much as being alive! Ok that is my 2 pennies.. hehe One more thing...
I found it very helpful as to why I over ate in the first place. Therapy helped, as you well know! BUTT (everyone has a big butt) what movie is that line from? hehe BUTT...whatever you decide I will for sure give you my support. Becuz' I love you!
ps... Sometimes you have to go with the bypass to get a handle quickly on your health issues. Just sayin'
Love you tons,
Aunt Quay
